Your journey begins in Casablanca, Morocco's vibrant economic capital, with a visit to the magnificent Hassan II Mosque — one of the largest mosques in the world, rising dramatically above the Atlantic. We then drive to Rabat, the country's capital, to discover the Mausoleum of Mohammed V, the historic Hassan Tower and the picturesque Kasbah of the Oudayas overlooking the ocean. In the afternoon we continue to Fes, the spiritual and cultural heart of Morocco, where you will spend the night.

We pass through Ifrane, often called the "Switzerland of Morocco" for its alpine charm, and the cedar forest of Azrou, where you may spot the famous Barbary macaques. Crossing the Middle Atlas via Midelt, we follow the stunning Ziz Valley with its panoramic views and endless palm groves. By late afternoon we reach Merzouga, where a camel caravan carries you across the golden dunes of Erg Chebbi to witness a spectacular desert sunset. A traditional Moroccan dinner and live Berber music around the campfire await you at camp.

We visit Rissani, home to one of southern Morocco's most traditional markets, before reaching the impressive Todra Gorge with its towering limestone cliffs and crystal-clear river. In the afternoon we travel through the Dades Valley, passing traditional Berber villages, lush palm groves and the curious "Monkey Fingers" rock formations, before settling in for the night in Dades.
