Marrakech – Aït Ben Haddou – Dades Valley
We pick you up in the morning and drive across the High Atlas Mountains via the Tizi n'Tichka Pass, stopping for photos of the mountain scenery. We reach Aït Ben Haddou, the UNESCO-listed kasbah and famous filming location for Gladiator and Game of Thrones, then continue through Ouarzazate and the Valley of Roses to the Dades Valley for the night.

After breakfast we explore the Dades Valley before reaching Todra Gorge, where a short walk takes you beneath its towering cliffs. We continue through Rissani, with its lively traditional market, to Merzouga on the edge of the Sahara. In the late afternoon a camel caravan carries you over the Erg Chebbi dunes to watch the sunset, followed by dinner and Berber music at your desert camp.

Wake early for a spectacular sunrise over the dunes, then enjoy breakfast before the return journey to Marrakech. We travel through the scenic Draa Valley with its endless palm groves, stop for photos along the way and cross the High Atlas once more, arriving in Marrakech by late afternoon.

What should I bring?
