Marrakech – Ourika Valley – Marrakech
We depart around 9am and drive about 60km south-east into the lower slopes of the High Atlas, following the Ourika River up its green valley with photo stops along the way. The road winds past Berber villages of clay and stone, roadside argan and pottery stalls and terraced gardens, to the village of Setti Fatma at the head of the valley. After a relaxed lunch beside the river you set off on a short walk and easy scramble up the rocky trail to the first of the seven Setti Fatma waterfalls, cooling off in the fresh mountain air, before the return journey to Marrakech.

What should I bring?
Comfortable shoes, sunglasses, sunscreen and a light jacket for the cooler desert nights. Sandboarding is available on request at the desert camp.
