There is really no time of year when you wouldn’t enjoy your trip to Morocco; although you should keep in mind that it tends to get a little too crowded with tourists during the winter holidays season. Then it’s up to you to decide what season suits you the best to come to visit, according to your schedule and preferences. The weather in Morocco is more on the mild side during Spring and Autumn (from March to May and from September to November respectively).

For these reasons, the temperatures could be ranging anywhere from 11° to 32°C. Winter usually lasts from December to February, with a relatively low-temperature range (7° to 21°C). You should also expect to see snowfall in Morocco’s mountainous regions. As for Summer (from June to August), temperatures can land anywhere between 19°C and 40°C in the middle of the day.

You have the chance to visit a significant portion of the Sahara Desert via the Atlas Mountains, Valleys, and Kasbahs on the 5 days desert trip Fes to Marrakech. Enjoy a camel ride and a camping trip at night in the Sahara. The itinerary includes 3 nights: 2 in Dades Valley, one in Ouarzazate, and one in the Merzouga desert.

 Leaving Fez in the morning, you will travel through Ifrane city before you reach Cedar Forest which is a woodland area between Azrou and Ifrane. In Cedar Forest, you may enjoy the beautiful trees being climbed by Berber apes, and observe different kinds of birds that take the forest as a home.

Continuing the tour, we will have lunch in Midelt before we reach Ziz Valley traveling through Erfoud (famous for the production of dates) and Errachidia. Ziz Valley is well-known for its palm trees. After arriving at your destination Merzouga, you will stay at a hotel where you will have dinner.

After we finish breakfast in Merzouga, we will head to explore some places by a 4 × 4. Today’s program will be visiting Merzouga’s oasis and the village of Khamlia where the Gnaoua people live. Gnaoua people are famous for their unique style of music and lifestyle. Before we go back to the hotel, you’ll visit the wonderful oasis of Tissardmine. Next, you will head to camp in the middle of the Sahara enjoying the sunset over the sand dunes. In a Berber tent, you will have dinner and spend the night.

After we get up early in the morning to enjoy the amazing sunrise over the sand dunes, we will ride camels back to Merzouga where you will have breakfast. The tour continues toward Rissani, where the largest Souks (traditional markets) in Morocco are, and Erfoud which is famous for producing marvelous marble fossils. Before we reach Todgha Gorges we will travel through the palm groves ofTinijdad. After having lunch in Todgha Gorges, we will continue the tour to Dades Gorges, where you will have dinner and spend the night, through Boumalne and the Dades Valley.

On the fourth day of your tour, the next destination will be Oaurzazate after having breakfast. During the journey, you will have lunch in Kalaat M’Gouna, which is also nicknamed “the Valley of Roses for its beautiful roses, after enjoying the wonderful landscapes on your way. Proceeding the day’s trip, you will the palm groves of Skoura before you reach the fascinating Kasbah of Amerdhyle in Ouarzazate. There, you will have dinner and spend the night at a hotel.

On the last day of your tour, you will visit Ouarzazate, which is named also the Hollywood of Africa, after having breakfast. Exploring Ouarzazate, you will visit Kasbah of Taourirt, Tfoultout, and the Cinema Studios. Continuing the tour, we will head toward Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou which is a UNESCO World Heritage Site composed of kasbahs (forts). It was built by Et Hami El Glaoui in the 18th century. Marrakech is where we will be heading through Tizi-N-Ticha Pass ( 2,260m over the High Atlas). At around 5:30 you will arrive at Marrakech.
