4 days tour from Casablanca, will start once we head to Rabat (The capital of Morocco), you will enjoy a nice exploration of Casablanca. In this city, you will visit some interesting places starting with Mosque Hassan II. It is one of the largest mosques in the world. This Mosque can contain 25.000 worshippers covering 24,000 square. Besides being a place of praying, a culture center with a library, museum, and a Koranic school are parts of the largest Mosque in Africa, too.
After we finish discovering this giant building, you will visit The United Nations Square Mohamed V. After that, we will visit the Royal Palace’s surroundings. After our arrival at Rabat, we will continue our trip by visiting The Mausoleum of Mohammed V. It is composed of the Moroccan king, Mohammed V, tombs, and his two sons ( The previous king Hassan II and Prince Abdallah). Hassan Tower (a 12th-century still-standing monument), and Place des Oudayas ( It was built in the 12th century by Almorabits to defend their lands from Spain) will be also visited.
In the afternoon, the journey continues to visit Volubilis (the prominent ruins of the Roman Empire in Morocco with its fascinating mosaics) and the holy city of Moulay Idriss I. Before we reach Fez, we will visit Meknes ( which was founded in the 17th by Moulay Ismail) where you can explore some interesting places like Bab Mansour (it was built in 1732 and known for its marble columns and geometric ornamentation), Hari Souani, and the old Medina. In Fez, you will spend the rest of the evening at a hotel.
In today’s program, we will explore the imperial and cultural city of Morocco which returns to 790 B.C. The medieval Medina, the Alkaraouine Mosque (which is the first established university in the world according to Guinness record, UNESCO, and many other scholars) Nejjarine fountain, and the Madrassa are among the places that deserve to be visited while you are in Fez. Yet, before we continue our way toward Merzouga, you will have the chance to visit the Arabian House. Here, you will observe the different craftsmen presenting their work.
Before we arrive at our destination, you will have a stop at a woodland area in the Middle Atlas Mountain. In this place, you will be able to see trees climbed by the Berber apes. Next, we will travel through Ziz Valley and Rissani after we have lunch in Midelt. After reaching Merzouga, you will ride the camels toward the sea sand of Merzouga’s desert where you will be camping in a nomad tent. Here, you will have a delicious Moroccan Tajine for dinner and listen to the unique kind of music played by the Berber people.
After waking up in the early morning, you will enjoy watching the amazing sunrise in the Sahara desert over the dunes. Your next step will be returning to the hotel in Merzouga where you will have a nice breakfast and a refreshing shower. On your way back, you will enjoy the brilliant sand dunes of Erg Chebbi. Leaving the hotel you will head to Tineghir and Todra Gorges where you will have lunch.
Todra Gorges are a series of rugged wadi gorges carved out by the Dades River in Morocco. They’re regarded as the most narrow and high gorges in Morocco. The next place we will visit is the Dades Valley. The majestic sand castles and monkey toes (a fascinating rock formation) in Ddaes Valley are a point of attraction for tourists.
Ouarzazate will be our next destination after having breakfast in Dades Gorges. During our journey, you will have the opportunity to capture some photos of the Thousand Kasbahs. The next place that will be visited is Kalaat M’gouna. It is also named the Valley of Roses”. It is known for the beauty of its roses and the special dance of Ahidous. Before we arrive in Marrakech, we will stop at Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah. It was built in the 18th century and is one of the UNESCO World Heritage Sites. The fourth day of your trip proceeds through the glorious Tizi n’Tichka (2260m) over the High Atlas range of the Atlas mountains.
